TutorHeight is a professional tutoring provider offering high quality and affordable services in Mississauga. The sessions are offered in the students homes and Mississauga Central library. At the beginning of the session a free assessment is provided to determine the level of the student and the best tutoring approach. Our areas of expertise are Math and English (ESL) for elementary, primary and secondary school students, Economics for college and university students, English (ESL) for new immigrants, Spanish for adults, MS Excel, and Minitab (statistical software) for students and professionals. All our tutors hold advanced graduate degrees from top universities in North America, have work experience in the academia and the industry, and share a passion for tutoring and teaching, which directly benefit our students providing a highly effective learning experience.

About Us

Adela is TutorHeight founder. She holds a PhD in Economics from Purdue University, and has 4-year teaching experience at university level in Canada and the United States, as well as more than 10-year of tutoring experience in Math, Economics, and English. Dr. Adela is very passionate about tutoring and teaching; her credentials enable her to provide an insightful approach and unique methodology which instill in students motivation and enthusiasm for learning, as well as increase interest and more confidence about the subjects. In addition, she has an ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple manner, which students find very helpful when reviewing the subjects, concepts, and assignments. Dr. Adela is available weekdays and weekends from 9am to 6pm.

Miguel holds a graduate degree in business from Purdue University and has an engineering background. He has 4-year experience working in Fortune 500 companies in Canada and the United States, as well as more than 10-year tutoring experience. Miguel is a native Spanish speaker and he enjoys tutoring Spanish at all levels. In addition, Miguel tutors MS Excel, and Minitab. Microsoft Excel is an application widely used in the industry for calculations. Miguel helps students to learn MS Excel from beginning to advanced levels, including formulas such as vlookup, and pivot tables; additionally, he is highly qualified to consult students regarding business cases in finance, operations, and marketing, including the use of forecasting, budgeting, and statistical tools such as regression models. Minitab is a statistical application designed to support the implementation of Six Sigma methodologies. Miguel experience in Minitab as Six Sigma Black Belt helps students to understand the application of these tools in a practical manner. For MS Excel and Minitab, Miguel is available on weekdays via email or during the weekends. For Spanish, he is available in weekdays from 7:30pm to 9pm and weekends.
